- The machine essentially consists of a base, two heads (one for boring and the other for grinding), a table with a manual and two automatic feeds and a system for easy mounting of the connecting rod.
- The grinding head has planetary motion, the eccentricity of which can be adjusted depending on the diameter of the con-rod
- The con-rod is held by expanding jaws spindle. The parallelism between the small and the big end of the con-rod is achieved by this system and careful setting of tools and truing of the end to be bored
- This machine can also be used for boring and grinding of cylinders of compressors and two wheelers
